    Some tips on application

Posted by Mitsy on 12th Nov 2018

I have not used this product personally, but I have used many others from Lucy minerals. This company saved me when I had cystic acne and was looking for a full coverage, luminous, mineral foundation. Their stuff is super pigmented. This can be a blessing or a curse. I am writing this based on a previous review that the color of this blush was too intense... I am FAIR, so I know the struggle. Intensity is no reason not to wear something. Here are some tips on how to do that: 1. Use a light hand. 2. Use a duo-fiber brush (they are the black ones with the white tips) or another low density brush. 3. Mix some white in to lighten the color. 4. Mix some finishing powder in to lighten the pigmentation. 5. Blend a little foundation or finishing powder OVER the blush. 6. Put the blush on first then use a lighter hand with the foundation over the blush. 7. Pick up excess product with a clean brush or damp sponge like a beauty blender (if you’re on a budget there a now a ton of knockoffs, including a great one from “shopmissa” for around $2- the pink paw paw one, not the black). 8. Set everything with setting spray (could use the rose water for this) and press the finishing spray in with a damp sponge. This melts everything together, helps it all blend together.
I know this was long, but I really hope it helps. Trust me, if I can manage to pull off colors like bright orange, purple, and hot pink, so can you :)

    Pretty lavender!

Posted by Liz Alexander on 6th Sep 2016

Testing this out over LM's "fair" foundation tonight, this was a SUPER-lavender color! I think I put too much on, however, and ended up with a Tammie Faye Bakker effect. I still need to practice! This isn't the right shade for me (it's much too dark and intense), but I'm glad I got a sample; I think it will make an amazing eyeshadow! :D I can definitely see this being good for darker complexions.

It's darker than I thought it would be, i use a light hand and I love the cool tone, yet robust, shade of pink. Glad I purchased

    beautiful color!

It's sheerer than the other blushes, but it is a beautiful cool sparkly pink. Great color for spring and summer.
