    Great Quality, But Strange Smell

Posted by Liz on 13th Jul 2016

I received my trial size of Ambrosia for Dry Skin in the mail today. I am a little torn; I can see how this could be a great oil for helping dried-out skin; I only had to use a couple of drops to cover and soothe both hands! On the other, the smell isn't my cup of tea. It doesn't smell spoiled or anything; I just prefer a less soapy smell to my oils. (It was one of my concerns when I was ordering, thus the trial size.) I may consider trying the other two a little down the line, but we'll see. Really glad these samples are available, though!

The Dry Skin formula is awesome!

Posted by Stephanie on 13th Jan 2016

I've never had problem skin; however, in my late 30s now, my skin is changing. I had my first bout of eczema earlier this winter and even though it wasn't severe, it made me realize just how dry my skin has become. I order the trial size of the Ambrosia for Dry Skin along with my "Find Your Shade" kit of foundations. The oil is FANTASTIC! It has a lovely scent and absorbs into my skin, leaving it feeling soft and healthy. I use it under my LM foundation and it gives the minerals a great base to sort of "hang on" to and I think it increases their staying power. I ordered the full size of this with my "Face It" kit, and can't WAIT to have it in my beauty arsenal!

    Great ingredients

Posted by Anamarija on 1st Dec 2015

I have dry and sensitive skin but I wanted to try multi-tasking oil and sweet dreams ambrosia oil. Unfortunately, they really dried out my skin. Think flaking dry. Good thing that I ordered testers. I only tried them for two days and had to repair the damage for the next week. lol They did not irritate my skin, only really dried it out, I don't know what is the deal with that. Who would say that oils can do that? :)
So anyway, if anyone with dry skin is thinking of trying those two, don't! Try the one for dry skin instead. ;)
It is possible that it is the combination of the oil and minerals, but the mineral powder with my usual moisturizer works just fine, so I blame the oils.
However, I don't want to give it bad rating because it is my fault that I ordered those two when there is actually a formula for dry skin, so I'll give it 4 stars for the ingredients, packaging and scent. :)

Note from Annie ~ This is very unusual and I have never had anyone complain about dryness from the Sweet Dreams Ambrosia. Did you mix it with water and then apply it to wet skin? This seems to lock the moisture into the skin. The Dry Skin Formula would probably be better for you because it has Shea Oil and Rosehip Oil which are better for dry skin. I'm glad you liked the scent and our little dropper bottles. :)

This is a lovely product, absorbs nicely into the skin and makes my skin feel really soft, I also mix a few drops with the mineral powder and makes a lovely under eye concealer, highly recommend trying it.

    Ambrosia Oils

all three oils are wonderful. They get absorbed into the skin really well. I use multi-tasking one before my LM foundation and it works better then any cream or primer I've tried. All three oils have a sent but I think they small really nice. highly recommend.
