Cream Foundation

I have been using this Lucy Light foundation for years and years. I have turned so many of my friends and family onto it when they compliment my skin or ask if I am wearing makeup. What a compliment! I used to have bad acne and have always had highly reactive/sensitive skin. For years I was plagued by the vicious cycle of using products for my acne that irritated my skin, which caused more acne, then using more makeup to cover up hat irritated my skin further..and on and on. Not to be dramatic, but when I discovered Lucy minerals it was truly life changing. This formula is gentle and non irritating and actually healing. I cannot say enough good things about this foundation.Thank you!

I have been using this product for many years. It is the ONLY foundation I will ever use. Offers sheer or buildable coverage. I have some red areas on my face and this foundation covers them beautifully. I use this as an under eye concealer, too, by using a different brush. It never irritates, and in fact I believe it has improved my skin. The company is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful and responsive to questions. I hope they never stop making this.

PS: I now live in Mexico and I have to go through quite a process to receive this. I ship to a holding area in Laredo, then a private courier picks it up and transports it to Guadalajara. Then another company brings it from Guadalajara to the town I've in, then I go to pick it up. Worth it!

I think this foundation is great, definitely a 4/5 (tones and coverage is fab although sometimes it can separate on the skin after a while). But I was surprised as there was nothing in the envelope with the pot - no compliment slip, no 'Thanks for your order!' As a customer ordering from the UK and paying a lot for international postage plus the product, I'd have appreciated the small effort! Thanks x

Suggestion for the foundation:
Use the Finishing Powder on top or under the foundation. You can also try the Enhance in place of the Finishing Powder if you prefer. Something to consider as well is the formula. If the formula is not right for your skin type it will not last as long.

Being recommended Lucy Minerals on a skincare forum I frequent, I took the plunge and tried it out - after using another brand for almost 10 years!
- But this is my new Holy Grail of makeup.
I read about it going on "dewy" and "creamy", but could never really imagine how that'd work... but somehow, it does.

I have acneic skin, and I am pretty sure that this makeup is helping it out a little.

I love it so much that I rick paying more for import taxes and handling than I do for products (double or tripling the price!) because I live in the EU... I usually wait for a discount (if there's a 30% discount, I can buy ONE foundation without exceeding the toll limit - yay!), but at times (like now), I am practically running out of foundation that I have to buy it at full price... and cross mu fingers my package doesn't get controlled.

Lovely, lovely products which I'd hate to ever go without. The Cream is a pretty perfect match for my skin tone most of the year, but I also have one a tad darker for when I inevitably get a summer tan.

One jar of foundation (daily use) has lasted me about 8 months.

I bought this powder in the original formula. The color Cream is a bit light for me, but I purchased another color (Creamy Olive) to combine with it. I admit it took some time for me to get comfortable with how natural the finish is as I am used to full coverage "doll-like" makeup and I went through a few application techniques and tools before I was able to master it. What an incredible foundation this is! I first apply my Lucy skincare as directed and then use a synthetic rounded top kabuki brush to stipple on the powder and then buff it in. I found that this tool and technique works the best with this foundation for medium-full coverage. I let the powder warm up on my skin before I spot conceal, if need be. I also use this to conceal under my eyes and it works great. My favorite finishing powder for it is the Enhance which gives a nice subtle glow. My combination skin looks balanced, fresh and not the least bit dry or oily. Even though the color is a bit light for me, it's still very forgiving. I'm really happy with it and will likely use this forever as it gives me the natural finish I was aiming for with the coverage I need and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Absolutely fabulous product and cannot recommend enough!

This powder was great in hot, humid weather. After applying have to give it 10-15 mins to melt in and look like skin. stayed on in high humidity. Light coverage - have not tried to make it more as I prefer light coverage. I prefer light coverage but found other powders too cakey. This does not adn am thrilled with the look. Would highly recommend

Gotta review this--superior product and dope little company! It took me a few tries to get my exact color match right (thanks for the help Kristal!), so it's worth getting a variety of samples in different colors and experimenting before buying a full size. My perfect custom color is 1/4 cream, 1/4 snow white, and 1/2 pale olive (I'm NC15ish). This is just hands-down the best mineral makeup out there. I've tried almost all of them. I get the Lucy Light formula, since the whole reason I wear mineral makeup is for the simplicity and quality of ingredients. I found that the best way to apply is to stipple small amounts on with a flat-top brush (I use the Sigma F80), then use light downward strokes to smooth everything out. No need for any liquid products at all, except maybe a primer. This stuff isn't gimmicky or cheap--just beautiful, high quality, medium to full coverage, healthy makeup. I'll be repurchasing for sure.

Very good and long lasting coverage.

I have never had long lasting coverage for my dark eye circles and acne scars like I have with Lucy Minerals. I recently ran out of my Cream Foundation before having a chance to order more, so I went a few days without. My mom let me borrow her make up (a high end department store brand) until mine arrived. I was shocked at how poorly it covered my dark circles and scars. It felt heavy and cakey and wore off within a few hours. I am beyond pleased with the results I have with Lucy Minerals. I will be sure to order more before I run out next time.
