Since discovering Lucy Minerals from my daughter's friend, it is the only make-up I use. It is so natural and light.

    Best Minerals

Posted by Joann on 25th Apr 2018

I am 64 yrs and almost gave up on using mineral makeup until I found Lucy Minerals. They are not drying nor do they accentuate wrinkles. Love that they have an olive selection as well. I use the original formula in medium olive and it is perfect.

    Best Mineral Foundation

Posted by Sara on 9th Mar 2017

I've tried a few mineral foundations and none of them compare to this stuff. It doesn't cling to dry patches or emphasize fine lines at all, two issues I have had with every other mineral foundation I've used, and it is very easy to apply in a way that looks even and natural. Most other mineral makeup brands I've used do not offer any olive shades either, and while I have strong yellow undertones warm shades just aren't ever quite right so I'm very happy to have found this brand. I also haven't broken out at all since I got it, and since I have sensitive skin that's a really big deal for me! Another big plus is that when wearing this foundation I barely feel it and it doesn't budge or fade throughout the day.

The only reason I knocked off a star is because the shade I bought is much lighter than how it looks and is described online, I expected it to be my summer shade and instead it barely passes as my winter shade. I feel like there should be swatches of the foundation colors on real skin for reference or at least an option for reviewers to upload pictures. Google image searches provide very limited swatches and the lighting from one to the next is extremely inconsistent because they are all from different sources. I know there are samples and sample kits, but the value is not on point for me.

Overall I would recommend Lucy Minerals to others and I actually do plan on buying a sample for my mother (she's hooked on Bare Minerals and I hope to convert her!) when I order my actual summer shade.

I love your Lucy's mineral foundation. It gives nice coverage and never irritates my skin like other brand mineral makeup and it's also cheaper then other brands. I have turned my mom into a Lucy mineral users and my friends and their daughters. This is the best stuff.

The BEST mineral foundation I have ever used!

Posted by Unknown on 31st Oct 2016

Let me start by saying I have very very sensitive skin. I have used so many brands of mineral foundation in the past and I break out in itchy hives from all of them. Lucy Minerals is the only foundation I can use and it by far is the best! Awesome coverage, superb customer service and great shade selection. I can honestly say that this foundation has made it so that I need less and less as time goes on. I don't suffer from red itchy patches or dry skin, nor do I break out like liquid foundation used to make me do! I can't say enough about this foundation.
One thing I love to do, mix a little Enhance with the Lucy Finishing Powder. It gives that perfect airbrush finish and glow every time. If you haven't tried Enhance yet, you should! It has so many uses you'll be dying to try them all! Thank you Lucy Minerals for giving me my skin back!

    The Best Mineral Foundation!

Posted by Carol on 30th Oct 2016

I've tried so many different foundations & this is the best! I wear creamy olive or medium olive depending on the time of the year & the color is perfect for me. Until LM I never realized how much better an olive tone foundation looks on me. The staying power is great - in fact I think the foundation almost looks better at the end of the day.

    Best Foundation

I'm not a big fan of powder foundations. And in the past I have used the best mineral foundation lines including Jane Iredale. This by far beats those lines in benefit and price.

Fantastic Undertones with creamy buildable coverage

Posted by Unknown on 10th Feb 2016

This is truly a world class foundation. I regularly splurge of high end foundations, and nothing is as gentle on my skin or matches my skintone more seamlessly than lucy minerals.

If you buff the product in to the skin, it has great lasting power, the coverage is the best i've seen for mineral foundation. Truly medium coverage, like you would get from a liquid. You can make a paste with it and create youre own concealer as well.

The only thing as with all foundations, you have to work on your skin texture. If you have badly texture skin, you will have to keep the coverage sheer to look natural/not like makeup. This is true for all foundations, so it's not even a drawback.

If I could throw this in my bag, I wouldn't buy another foundation.

    Hands down the best

Posted by Tanya Dorey on 29th Jun 2015

I have extremely acne prone skin, everything breaks me out. All of that changed when I discovered this gem of a foundation 4 years ago. Since then I have workerd at sephora for years and then for Dior and Guerlain. I have received endless foundations for free but gave everyone of them away because nothing compares to my Lucy minerals. When customers would ask me what foundation I use I would always tell them it was Lucy minerals. I have combo skin and use the original formula and the oil control silica finishing power. It's the perfect combo to go over my sunscreen! Once upon a time I receiced a message informing us international customers that Lucy minerals will not be shipping to Canada anymore due to the high cost of shipping. I promptly sent an email to Annie telling her that I don't care how much I have to pay for shipping! I will never change.
