This is a review on the Find Your Shade Kit.
This kit is a wonderful way to find your shade in the Lucy Minerals Foundation. I appreciated that you get six different foundation colors to chose from along with generous size sample jars. The size of the sample jars personally came in very handy for finding my custom blend shade!

I've been using BE minerals makeup for almost fifteen years now and have officially switched after trying this makeup out. I wished I found LM sooner. My skin doesn't get itchy when I start sweating.

Find your shade kit is perfect, not for just finding your perfect foundation shade, but also testing out other shades that will match your skin for natural looking contouring. Love it and love the price! Your face is not one flat color and the price for the full jars will allow me to purchase 3-4 different foundation colors for natural contouring and highlighting.

Great sample kit before fully committing. Tried to compare with Everyday Minerals which is also great but a little too light coverage for me.

Compared to Everyday Minerals and a couple of other brands I have used, Lucy Minerals gives the most even, smoothest, almost chemical-foundation like results. I was worried it might crease, but it didn't!

A tiny con: It's difficult to find right shades and colors from the website pictures. I felt Lucy has reddish tones except Olive lineups compared to Everyday, but it's probably because of my skin tone (North East Asian yellow tone).

I'm new to Lucy Minerals and this is a great way to try the products and find your shade and formula. The amount of product in each jar is generous, which allows for several applications for comparison. I've been using a different shade/formula for the past five days, I think I've got it narrowed down but I have a couple to try yet. I am very impressed with all of the foundations - excellent coverage and my skin feels so healthy. It has also not exacerbated my acne or irritated my skin. I have used other brands of mineral make-up and this is the best that I've found. I will be purchasing full size once I decide on the shade/formula. The shipping was also very quick, thank you.

I have warm, light to medium skin, with shiny t-zone and dry cheeks. I have been using mineral tinted moisturizers, bb and cc creams with broad spectrum SPF, and at the end of the day, my t-zone looks like an oil slick even when I am never under the sun for more than 20 minutes at a time. I was searching for sun protection minus the greasy appearance and chanced upon Lucy Minerals product reviews from green beauty bloggers and YouTubers. I always imagined powder products to be messy, would take more time and skill to achieve even application....OK, yes, it is slightly messier with a little powder somehow spilling out of the little jar, but the results are WORTH IT! No more oil slick and I didn't even sample the oil control formula. It evens out quickly with buffing. Since I am Asian, I have always been recommended to use yellow base but bisque melts into my skin almost as soon as applied, light medium with slight blending, and creamy bisque with a bit more blending. The blush included matte rose matches my flush perfectly. The order was nicely packed and delivered very quickly. I am wholly satisfied with the shopping experience and the products, thanks a bunch :)

What a GREAT kit and perfect way to truly find your shade and formula without any hassle or disappointment. The kit and samples within each container are very generous. Great price and fast shipping too! I spoke with Kristal via email first to get some color guidance and she was awesome. I love my kit. The blush in Precious is perfect for me and I easily found my perfect foundation match as well in both shade and formula. I'm beyond impressed with the Lucy Light foundation formula. It's fantastic and unlike any other mineral foundation I've tried. Not to mention it actually works with my dry skin and Rosacea. The foundation and blush look and feel great on my skin and last all day long. Will be ordering full size!

I ordered the sample kit and received it three days later. It's a lot of product!! I tried the original option and at first it looks powdery but then it melts with your natural skin oils. I love the finished product. I'm a new mom and my skin is awful right now but when wearing the foundation it looks great again!! I will defiantly order the larger jar.

I've been very happy with this kit. You get to choose six different shades, so there is no way you won't find a match for yourself. I tried both the formulations for oily skin and found that the calcium carbonate held up way better than the silica. You also get a really nice sample size of each shade so it will last for a while. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have a lot of skin issues/allergies and can't use mainstream makeup. I've tried quite a few mineral foundations over the years and this is the first one that doesn't break down/get patchy on my oily skin throughout the day, settle in lines, or emphasize dry patches. It also feels calming thanks to the high amount of zinc. Despite being medium-full coverage, it looks very natural but not glowy to the point that I look greasy after 30 minutes (another problem I have with other brands). I really liked being able to try out so many different shades/formulas and plan on using the ones that aren't great matches as under eye concealer (which they work amazing for by the way...non drying and don't crease!). I also REALLY love the matte blushes -- no fading throughout the day and look really natural. I will be back once I've used up my samples to get full sizes of the foundation and blush!

Received these in the mail and am thrilled with the quality. Although some of the shades aren't the right one for me they may come in handy in the summer when I'm darker. I love that Lucy minerals has this options. No more once-used bottles lying at the bottom the drawer for me!
