Perfect kit if you are unsure about your foundation shade. You will receive (6) TRY IT Size Foundations of your choice + (1) TRY IT Size Finishing Powder & (1) TRY IT Size Blush. $24 Value.

Lucy Minerals foundation is unlike any other mineral foundation you have ever tried... you will love the creamy consistency and how well it warms up to your skin!

You may find it helpful to see our Foundation Chart which is sorted by undertone; it is the second image of this posting.

Tip: When you are trying to find your correct foundation shade, use a small amount of mineral foundation on your jawbone and blend it in well. Allow the minerals to warm to your skin for 10-15 minutes before deciding if it is the right or wrong shade. Check your jawbone in the daylight to make sure the shade matches your neck. I think that it is better to use your Foundation to even out your skin tone, cover imperfections, and lighten up the area under and around your eyes. If you use your Foundation to give your skin "color" or to try to make yourself look tan, your neck and chest will look lighter than your face and you won't look natural.

Keep in mind if you play around with the shades and realize you were unable to find your perfect match with just one, you can order your custom shade full-sized foundation in your desired ratio of shades!

    Seems like a good makeup!

Posted by Bri on 3rd Jun 2015

So I've only used this once (I don't wear makeup unless I'm going somewhere with friends/out somewhere fancy or special!) but so far, from that 1 wear I like it. I have very pale skin with yellow undertones. I have very acne prone skin, and very sensitive skin- lots and lots of allergies to food/cosmetics/environment etc. so I have to be very careful about what I use on my skin. Even though I'm acne prone I have very dry skin as well! Weird, I know. I used the Cream color in the regular formula. I had a bad acne breakout that was just starting to clear but I had a few bumps and several spots of dark discolored skin. I dabbed some powder on the spots with a small brush to conceal, let it sit for a min. then put a light layer over my whole face. I let it sit for 5 mins. like suggested, and then put on another light layer and buffed it in gently. I then put on a little of the blush and bronzer samples and was very surprised! The coverage on this makeup is just as good as the liquid makeup I've been using for 10 years (Prescriptives) if not better, but without the nasty chemicals. After it sat on my face for 30 mins or so my skin started to look dewy and natural, and it didn't look like I was wearing a mask, like with most powder foundations, or foundation in general. I went to help a friend move that day, out in the rainy humid 85 degree weather, and at the end of the day the makeup still looked pretty darn good, especially considering I was covering acne spots and scars. I didn't seem to break out from it, but I want to wear it a few more times before deciding if it's the right makeup for my skin. I really hope it is! I have tried a lot of powder makeups in the past, including but not limited to; Prescriptives, Bare Minerals, Tarte, and Smashbox, and I just always thought mineral makeup wasn't right for me because of how horrible they made my face look and feel. If I get through a few more wears of this and don't have a reaction I will definitely be ordering full sizes of the foundation, blush and bronzer, as well as samples for my mom. I suggest watching youtube videos of girls putting this specific makeup on, because it helped me a lot. You only need a tiny tiny bit! Which is baffling to someone who has always needed a ton to get good coverage. The customer service is also very good! They responded quickly to my questions and shipped the samples quickly.
