    I love Lucy's Minerals

Posted by Laura Rain on 6th Nov 2016

Hello, I am a professional singer. I wear the original foundation and finishing powder on stage, in photo shoots, and also for every day. Does not slide or change pigment. Long wear and non irritating. I love it! I wear Lucy's mineral foundation in Pale Olive and also light or medium olive depending on the season.

    Favorite Foundation

Posted by JMC on 31st Oct 2016

I love the Lucy Minerals foundations! I like the OCC formula, and I usually mix the Pale Olive and Creamy Olive shades, depending on the time of year and how pale/tan I am. I love how much coverage I get with a small amount of powder. I don't like the feeling of heavy foundation on my face, so I love that the Lucy foundation gives me a flawless coverage without feeling thick. Plus, now that I'm pregnant, I especially like knowing that I'm not putting chemicals or harmful substances on my face. I love makeup, so I'm always trying new things. But I always come back to the Lucy foundations.

Just what I was looking for!

Posted by Unknown on 29th Oct 2016

I have been in search of a makeup that covers well and doesn't look painted on......... ladies and gentleman this is it! Great coverage that feels light on the skin and is versatile from light to full coverage wear. Easy to apply and there are multiple shades and tones to pick from. I am hooked!

Not sure how to use it correctly...

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Oct 2016

I really want to like this product. However no matter what application technique or tool I use, I cannot seem to get this to look decent on my face. I like medium to full coverage, but can only seem to get light coverage before it starts looking really heavy. I'm really stumped. I'm a professional makeup artist and have never had so much trouble trying to apply a mineral powder. I've followed all the directions, and have even purchased the skincare and the primer. I don't want to throw it out because I want to give it a chance but can't seem to make it work.

Note from Annie ~ Please contact us through the website on our Contact Us page. I'm so sorry you are having problems. I would love to talk to you. This is very unusual. Thanks for your feedback.

    New favourite foundation!

Posted by Taylor on 19th Feb 2016

I have a mix of Pale Olive and Creamy Olive and it's perfect -- it's not often that you find olive-toned makeup for us lighter ladies! Not only is the colour a great match, but it doesn't even look like makeup no matter how close you get to my face, it just looks like I have great skin. I was kind of suspicious of the claim that it "holds up well in humidity" but I can definitely say it's true, because I've been sweating like crazy at work and my foundation looks exactly the same when I come home as it did when I left, which is pretty impressive! (I use the calcium carbonate version which a little bit of staying on despite sweating can probably be attributed to.) Fair price, great product. Love it, all around!

The best mineral foundation I've found...

Posted by Sara G. on 5th Jan 2016

I have acne prone, sensitive skin. Of all the mineral foundations I've tried (which has been soooo many) this is by far my favorite. It doesn't break me out, or clog my pores (I'm looking at you MAC). It is so smooth and creamy, and blends flawlessly. It doesn't oxidate (I'm looking at you Bare Minerals) either. Try some of Lucy Mineral's other products too, you won't regret it.

    In love with this foundation!

Posted by Floortje on 25th Nov 2015

I'm SO in love with this foundation! The shade matches me perfectly (I don't think I ever found a better match, pale olive shades are often overlooked). It looks so incredibly natural yet gives amazing coverage - it is really buildable (from a light coverage to full coverage) but that does not compromise the natural look, especially when you let it 'sit' in between layers. The ingredients are all good for your skin and it even gives some sunprotection because of the titaniumdioxide and zincoxide. I will never buy any store-bought foundation with all the harmfull chemicals again! I have dry skin, and I can easily handle multiple layers of this powder, it never feels drying or looks powdery (yet I can still recommend moisturizing beforehand, but I do that with every foundation). It feels nice and lightweight and stays put the entire day... I can't think of anything bad. You only need a little so it will last me a very long time, so the price is more than justified. I have applied on my mother (who struggles with heavy rosacea) and she fell in love too. It covered her redness really well! Her skin is more mature than I but it still looked really good. I will order a full size for her as well when we find her shade match!

I can recommend this foundation to anyone and everyone, for all ages and skin types. I don't think I ever tried a better foundation than this in my life!

    Amazing Coverage for Sensitive Skin

Posted by Anna on 29th Jun 2015

I've been using samples of the Lucy Light formula for about a month and I can honestly say that I am in love. This is the only foundation that does not irritate my sensitive skin or aggravate my acne. The coverage is amazing, which I never thought would be possible with just powder. I can't use liquid foundation because they all contain ingredients that my skin does not tolerate. No foundation I've ever tried so far has been a good match for my skintone either, but I love the fact that I can order a custom mix of shades from Lucy Minerals. I can't wait to try the brushes too, as I keep hearing great things about them!

    A Top Tier Mineral Foundation

Posted by Mary Catherine on 29th Jun 2015

Lucy Minerals has the only mineral foundation I have found that offers a wide variety of shades as well as fantastic formulas. Not to mention custom blending, which I do take advantage of!

The Original Formula is creamy, medium to full coverage, and doesn't irritate or break out my sensitive skin. Pale Olive is a bit too dark for my very pale NC10~ complexion so to remedy that I use a custom blend of 1/3 Snow White and 2/3 Pale Olive. It's perfect! To apply the foundation, I use a dense, flat top foundation brush in patting motions. The freshly applied foundation can appear powdery but it looks fantastic once it gets a bit of time to settle in and continues to look better throughout the day. Depending on the day a bit of powder may be necessary after a good 6+ hours of wear with combination skin like mine, sometimes I don't have to powder at all. There is never any type of fading or patchiness! In my experience, I do find there is some transfer when your face is touched (sunglasses, a hand, tissue, etc.) so be wary in that aspect.

Overall, I cannot recommend this mineral foundation enough. It is one of the best on the market!

    holy grail

Posted by Vivian on 28th Jun 2015

I have been using Lucy Minerals foundation for the past two years, and every time I used another foundation, I always come back to this foundation. Pale olive is also a perfect shade for me, i really appreciate that there is no pink tint to this (a problem I usually find with natural foundation). Lucy minerals has good foundation shades catered to olive and yellow toned skin. Also, even though I have very dry skin, but I find this foundation to be very "creamy", and it never dries out my skin or emphasizes dry patches. I love how it melts into my skin and is virtually undetectable on the skin, especially a few hours after. Also extremely long lasting. This is my tried and true foundation!
