Note from Annie ~ If your skin is extremely sensitive, you would do best with our “Lucy Light” which offers the same texture, shades and coverage without the added antioxidants. If your skin is oily, I offer two different Oil Control Formulas. One contains Silica and the other contains Calcium Carbonate. I have found that some women do better with one ingredient over the other. I prefer the Calcium Carbonate formula for my skin, but I have many customers who love the Silica formula. I only use the Oil Control Formula in the summer when it is extremely hot and humid. If I use it in the winter, it tends to cause my skin to become dehydrated. If you have combination/dry skin, you will probably do better with our Original Formula.
Be sure to keep your skin well exfoliated and then moisturize using a few drops of your favorite Ambrosia Beauty Oil mixed with water for best results. Our Ambrosia Beauty Oils help to balance the oil and moisture content of your skin and are the perfect primer for Lucy Minerals Foundation.

    Always Happy!

Posted by April Larson on 25th Aug 2019

I've been out of my Lucy Minerals for like 2 weeks. I had to use my old L'oreal foundation in the mean time...omg was I relieved when I finally was able to re-order Lucy Minerals. Granted the liquid L'Oreal takes less time to apply-BUT lord did I regret having to use it. It drew attention to my crows feet big time, and made my face break out, and made it look dull. Today I put my Lucy Minerals on and hello fresh looking, even cute face that should be starting to heal now!

where have you been all my life! I searched low and high, at times spending $60 for the best foundation. I tried them all-from sephora, Ulta, Mac, Macys, you name it----they all broke me out or did not cover or was too darn dark for my pale white skin :( I found Lucy Minerals online by chance, ordered a few samples and LOVE IT! This stuff does not break you out at all, I'd say the coverage is pretty good for redness and healing blemishes (if you have a open pimple it doesnt really cover BUT using this you should experience less pimples) it does not feel heavy, doesnt cake (unless you maybe glob it on with tons of other products) and if it starts to budge through out the day,all you do is use your buffing brush, buff the area, and done-no need to add more! It is nice to wrinkles too. I used this on my teen who is suffering from small acne bumps and this gave her a nice look and I dont feel bad putting it on her face because its a very clean product! Do yourself a favor and try this!

The foundation was very drying to my skin. I do not have dry skin. I used two moisturizing products before applying the mineral foundation and within an hour my face felt taunt and dry. The color "fair" was perfect for my complexion however.

Note from Annie - I'm so sorry you had this experience. We recommend prepping your skin with a few drops of any of our Beauty Oils. You can mix a few drops of oil with water in your hands and pat on. By doing this you are making your own moisturizer that is free of waxes, emulsifiers and preservatives.
We have found that some commercial moisturizers and primers don't do well as a base for Lucy Minerals and can make the skin feel uncomfortable.

I’m so glad I finally tried this out!

Posted by Kassi on 2nd Jan 2019

I’ve been wanting to try Lucy Minerals for quite some time and I finally ordered a sample pack a couple months ago. I wasn’t sure what shade I would be so I ordered several similar shades. It turns out the Fair shade is a good match for my neutral warm skin tone with freckles. I’m extremely happy with the foundation, my skin looks the best it has in years I think. And it’s so much easier to apply and deal with than the thick liquids I’d been using before. And the few times I’ve fallen asleep with my makeup on, it was no big deal at all! I will continue to use Lucy Minerals for as long as I wearing foundation.
I bought the original formula in the shade Fair.

    Great coverage!

Posted by Unknown on 14th May 2018

I love this foundation, and plan to order the full size.
I used Bare Minerals for probably a decade, but the formulation no longer suits my skin (makes it itch).

    Thank you, Lucy Minerals!

    Safe coverage

Posted by Nicole on 26th Mar 2018

I have rosacea and extremely sensitive skin. Currently I’m have an allergic rash on my face and the Lucy Light formula is covering it and not causing any further reaction. Other mineral foundations I looked at had ingredients that I knew were no goes for me. The Lucy light formula was creamy feeling on my skin and was surprisingly full coverage.

    Amazing coverage for my hyperpigmentation

Posted by Patty in Miami, FL on 20th Aug 2017

I am so very happy with this product. I cannot believe how well it covers my age spots and hyperpigmentation without making my face cakey. It is weightless and it feels like you have no make up on. I just love it.

    Face is still burning

Posted by Allison on 26th Jul 2017

I truly adore the colors that I chose, and this mineral powder goes on easily. It blends so well . Unfortunately there is just something about mineral powder that I guess I can't wear. My face burned as bad as with other drug store brands of mineral powder/foundation. I did not choose the version for the most sensitive skin, however, as I typically don't have sensitive skin.

Hi Allison! I am so sorry you had a reaction. It may be one of the antioxidants in our original formula. If you contact us through our "Contact Us" page I will send you some free Try It Sizes of our Lucy Light formula. Annie
